If you were a Lemonade policyholder in the United States who, between June 25, 2019, and May 27, 2021, provided first notice of loss through a video claim submission from which Defendants or Released Parties could have collected, captured, received, or otherwise obtained or disclosed data or information that could be construed as biometric identifiers of any kind and/or biometric information of any kind, you could get benefits from a class action settlement.

Illinois Settlement Sub-Class:

All Defendants' policyholders in the State of Illinois who, between June 25, 2019, and May 27, 2021, provided first notice of loss through a video claim submission from which Defendants or Released Parties could have collected, captured, received, or otherwise obtained or disclosed data or information that could be construed as biometric identifiers of any kind and/or biometric information of any kind.

Nationwide Settlement Class:

All Defendants' policyholders in the United States who, between June 25, 2019, and May 27, 2021, provided first notice of loss through a video claim submission from which Defendants or Released Parties could have collected, captured, received, or otherwise obtained or disclosed data or information that could be construed as biometric identifiers of any kind and/or biometric information of any kind.

Summary of Your Legal Rights and Options in This Settlement
Submit a Claim Submitting a claim on this website no later than August 22, 2022, or sending a paper claim postmarked no later than August 22, 2022, is the only way to get Settlement benefits. Instructions on how to submit a claim can be found here.
Exclude Yourself (Opt Out) Choosing this option is the only way to ever be a part of any other lawsuit against Defendants about the legal claims in this case. However, it means you will not receive any benefits as part of this Settlement. Requests for exclusion must be postmarked by August 8, 2022.
Object Write to the Court about why you do not support the Settlement. The deadline to file an objection is August 8, 2022.
Go to a Hearing Ask to speak in Court about why you do or do not support the proposed Settlement or any of its provisions. The Fairness Hearing will be held on August 25, 2022.
Do Nothing If you do nothing, you will not be entitled to receive a payment. You will give up rights to sue Defendants about the legal claims in this case.
